I was planning to write about Lithuanian startup TrackDuck earlier, but then the travelling season and the news about Vinted’s whopping 20 million Euro funding round happened, so I got delayed.
The reason why I wanted to cover TrackDuck’s launch of its new interactive website feedback and bug-tracking tool is because I am too familiar with the problem. The problem means taking a screenshot, drawing on it, adding to a bug file, sharing with my colleagues that would manually add them to the Redmine. Yeah…
TrackDuck has just announced releasing a new version of its product that helps designers and web developers communicate about the website design and development process. The web-based tool helps achieve 30-70 percent improvement in communication.
It allows various participants of a website design and development process give feedback to the work in progress and report bugs. TrackDuck automatically takes a snapshot, technical details and visual comments and put it into the workflow. Basecamp and Jira are already integrated into the process.
It is good to see the startup bloggers becoming entrepreneurs themselves. TrackDuck has first been founded at Garage48 Minsk by Eddie Balcikonis, whose blog on Lithuanian startup ecosystem I followed closely. Coincidentally the announcement of Garage48 event in Minsk was one of the last posts featured on Eddie’s blog.
Having won the first place at LOGIN startup pitch challenge last year and completing Startup Sauna program, TrackDuck was one of the first teams to get investment from Startup Sauna and won a whole load of other competitions. Currently the company is raising 200,000 Euro round, here is its profile on the Angellist.
