We have just covered acquisition of Socializer, and an even bigger news came in yesterday as the social media management platform Hootsuite acquired real-time social media marketing platform uberVU as reported by TechCrunch.
uberVU was founded by Romanian entrepreneurs Dan Ciotu, Vladimir Oane and Dragos Ilinca and backed by Seedcamp in 2008. uberVU customer base includes 3M, Getty Images, indiegogo and many others.
The acquisition is not only great news for the investors who are reportedly happy with the deal (numbers have not been disclosed) but also for CEE startup ecosystem, that begins seeing the first results of the seeds planted by Seedcamp and others.

Hootsuite plans to eventually integrate uberVU analytics into its suite of premium products. For the time being uberVU will remain a stand-alone product.
