When I hear a word ‘productivity’ together with a word ‘cloud’ I think about an overcrowded space. Yet, Estonian startup Weekdone, whose launch we covered earlier this year, has won Scandinavian startup conference Slush and convinced French angel fund KIMA Ventures as well as others to back its SaaS solution for managers to help them monitor and manage their team.
The concept of the Weekdone solution is that team members make weekly plans and submit progress reports against those plans on a weekly basis. Reminders are set to complete and submit the reports, and the managers can view them online.
Jeremie Berrebi of KIMA Ventures that led the funding round said in a press release that weekly reporting is the most important tool for the managers to request from their teams. It is good to see one of the most active angel funds in Europe to take interest in Estonia, as we have not seen many deals in which KIMA has participated aside from a couple of ecommerce projects in Russia.
If you need a solution for the team management, you may get it now from Weekdone at 25 percent discount for life, which the company offered to celebrate the victory of the startup competition at Slush which saw 400 startups applying to participate. Use the code SLUSH13WIN at the registration.
