The Polish branch of the Israeli VC fund Giza Polish Ventures has acquired 25 percent equity stake in Limtel that is creating a cloud-based call center management solution. Limtel, that has acquired over 1000 clients in Poland, offers incoming call routing across distributed company structure, quality monitoring, manage outgoing communication as well as secure phone lines. This is a cloud-based service that is said to be easy to use without technical knowledge. Aside from Limtel, Giza Polish Ventures backed Audioteka and Vivid Games, according to Proseed Magazine.
Also another Polish fund IQ Partners have backed Big Data Solutions, that deals with algorithms for management and support of database systems acquiring 49 percent equity. It has also invested to ecommerce websites Posylka.pl (25% equity) and Giftbox that sells prepaid virtual gift cards (20% equity). By now IQ Partners have backed over 100 projects directly or via its startup incubator arm InQbe spending 50 million zloty. The full list of projects can be found here.
