The startup is after the global market, with its paying customers coming from 12 countries. The funding, undisclosed at this stage, is going to be used to drive the marketing efforts in Europe and US, including online marketing, building new sales channels and partnership.
Maxfield Capital is founded by Alexander Turkot, who has previously built MySpace Russia and was later in charge of Skolkovo IT Cluster. According to Turkot, Qbaka is a seed investment, although the fund looks also at the early stage investment opportunities. He added “Our dedicated team is currently helping company with it global expansion, access to important clients and the hiring of the top notch technical talent.”
