In Bulgaria the year 2013 has seen an increased interest to its internet startups from the International investors and media. In addition to two local events – DigitalK and Balkan Venture Forum, the side projects by the Pirate Summit, Pinoneers Unplugged and TechCrunch the Balkans took place in Sofia. VCs from Balderton Capital, Connect Ventures, Speedinvest, Earlybird, Blackbox, Intel Capital, 3TS to mention but a few have visited the country to meet with the startup community.
