We have met Mikida Mikado at the Startup Week Vienna in 2011 when he was pitching proposal template tool Quote Roller at the startup competition.
Last week the company announced that it has raised $655,000 (505,000 euro), as reported by Robin Wauters on The Next Web. We almost never report on developments out of Belarus, so it’s refreshing to see to a startup from there obtain a fairly significant amount of funding.
Quote Roller is a service which offers businesses templates for creating proposals. They offer a 2-week free trial, but charges from $15 (12 euro) to $30 (23 euro) for their 3 packages. The basic package offers users e-signatures, statistics, and access to the iPhone app, but the premium packages also include analytics, a content library, an account manager, custom domain branding, and SalesForce and SugarCRM integrations. According to the company’s site, their service can be integrated with services like Google Apps, Box, Basecamp Classic, Highrise, Xero, Capsule CRM, Podio, and others. For a full list, see here.
The company was founded in 2011 by Belarusians Mikita Mikado and Serge Barysiuk, but, like many other tech startups, is currently headquartered in San Francisco. The company has 25,000 customers and that their other investors include Kima Ventures, Altair Capital, Oleg Tscheltzoff, Google engineer Ihar Mahaniok, Fabrice Grinda, and Eric Dunn.
