In this case, the team behind this Bulgarian startup are working to develop software which will allow users to open doors remotely with just a click of a button.
Divesquare – Unfortunately, there’s not much information here about the exact nature of their service, but this Bulgarian startup is building a universal platform for the international diving community.
GymRealm – The team behind this Bulgarian startup is attempting to build a fitness-oriented social network.
Kid-A-Mom – Bulgarian startup which provides a new way for kids to watch shows online.
Lionsharp – A team with connections to Armenia, Italy, and the United Kingdom, this startup helps companies to outsource to or within Armenia. Their unique service is “Voiceboard”, a whiteboard which allows users to collaborate and drag-and-drop content in real-time. This service they’re promoting uses voice-recognition software and allows users to orally add content to the board.
NumberPicture – A Bulgarian/South African team which offers a new way of visualizing data. Visitors to the company’s site can find a host of templates, which can be used to create more interesting graphs.
Skiipi – There’s not much information available right now about this Croatian startup, but the team behind it are hoping to liven up the traditional skiing experience by allowing users to utilize their smartphones to access track records, challenges, etc. Skiing is a pretty enjoyable experience on its own, but these guys are hoping to make a game out of it, in part.
Social Ninja – According to the original article, this startup offers a low-cost and localized tool for social-media marketing. This team has connections to Bulgaria and the United Kingdom.
Store To Door – A Bulgarian startup dedicated to high-end fashion.
WoBeeK – Serbian team developing management-software for beekeepers.
WonderSwamp – Bulgarian startup hoping to change the way that online videos are produced and distributed.
Zzzzapp – Offering businesses a way to monetize their internet connections.
It’s good to see a good deal of variety in this class in terms of national origins. As they’re joining a Bulgarian accelerator, it’s understandable that many of the teams are Bulgarian, but several other southeastern European countries are also represented, which is nice to see.
