It is winter again, and the Baltic conference formerly known as TechCrunch Baltics, and now renamed as TechChill Baltics – is being organized at a full speed. The web link still sends you to the tcbaltics.com, yet the organizers had to change the branding to avoid displeasing corporate folks at TechCrunch.

Anyhow, the event is going to take place on the 12th of February 2013 in Riga, Latvia and here is why you should be interested.

First, the organizers are working hard in getting bloggers to attend, to make sure that the TechCrunch coverage will take place.

Second, its investment panel that will judge startups include representatives from Index Ventures, Creandum, Seedcamp, Sunstone Capital and others.

Third, the speakers will include the former Spotify and current Wrapp co-founder and CTO Andreas Ehn, former head of PayPal Europe Roy Wella and others.

And last, but not least the conference will close with a party to celebrate the first year of TechHub Riga.

The applications to participate in the pitching competition will be accepted until the 5th of February.
